A Bio-Agtive Practice
How do we use Nature to our Advantage?
March 9, 2018
Bio-Agtive Emissions Technology is a method for utilizing combustion engines to treat soils, seeds, plants, microorganisms, and water. Emissions can be captured anytime an engine is being used for agricultural, recreational, and environmental work, such as generators, pumps, irrigation, earthmoving, transportation, and industrial. Many practices, theories, and equipment utilizations that N/C Quest has developed aim to help agriculture’s economics, food security, emission reductions, and responsible agriculture practices and aim to make lower energy consumption viable again.
N/C Quest sees the value of what emissions can do to plants and to the environment when used correctly. Pollution is something present in the environment where it doesn’t belong, like a weed in a field. A weed can be a blossoming into a beautiful flower in a field but if it is not the type of plant that is not harvestable, then it must be removed. Therefore, that weed can be labelled as a pollutant. Most of the general population see emissions from an engine as a pollutant to the environment and atmosphere that has no potential value to anyone.
N/C Quest’s mission is to inform the general public and agriculture bodies that there IS VALUE to everyone’s emissions, thus making it necessary to remove the pollutant label.
The Bio-Agtive Technology used in agriculture is simply a method that empowers a plant to use the sun's energy during the season rather than relying on traditional cropping inputs. Think of a hybrid engine, a system designed to run itself on two different energy sources; the difference is one source is renewable while the other is not. The way N/C Quest looks at farming is similar. It gives everyone a choice at in their farm practices: whether they want to grow crops using a natural biological cycle that uses sunlight energy or break out the tanks of liquid nitrogen at the expense of their bank account and time.
By choosing the Bio-Agtive method, N/C Quest is looking to empower your crops, using their natural biological cycle to unleash their genetic potential. Your soil is a vast world of living organisms, all of which play a role in maintaining soil and crop health. Through healthy soil management, food that does not have mineral and nutrient deficiencies can be produced. This allows crops to be grown in low organic matter soils, even in stressful situations such as a drought. In Bio-Agtive’s farming practice, risk is minimized while profit margin is maximized. These are accomplished by eliminating high input costs while maintaining crop yield.
The system is comprised of a primary heat condenser that is easily mounted on the tractor and seeding equipment. Exhaust is captured and directed through the condenser, cooling it to a manageable temperature. It is then directed into the seed cart fan, treating the seed and soil as they exit through the tines. This is a seemingly simple process which sparks an endless number of chemical reactions in both the seed and soil.
Rather than relying on a synthetic system, nature can be used to our advantage. This cycle of both plant and soil working together is what allows Bio-Agtive to produce crops of high quality around the world without the use of fertilizers.
A plant that is empowered by nanocarbons, present in the exhaust, can photosynthesize more efficiently throughout its lifetime. This means more Co2 is drawn to it from the atmosphere leading to more carbohydrates (sugar) being made and leeched back into the soil. When the organisms in the soil are fed, they begin to work for the plant by bringing vital nutrients to it, such as water and minerals. Nitrogen-fixating bacteria begin to produce nitrogen, stimulating the crop. Roots are stimulated to drive down deep when a plant must survive using its natural resources. When an unnatural food source is present in the soil, it causes the seed to be lazy and dependent on the said source by not using sunlight energy, thus making the soil life no longer essential.
